This is an event led by the Quantum Computing Chicago, Illinois, and Beyond QC meetup group and supported by us.
QC, at least in its mainstream form today, is still shaped—and limited—by the environment in which it was born: a binary, logic‑gate framework that remains fundamentally classical and non-imaginary (pun fully intended). Until we break out of that cocoon—moving beyond the qubit toward higher‑dimensional qudits, and ultimately toward architectures like AQC that are driven by genuinely quantum mechanical principles—the true potential of quantum computing will remain constrained. But if and when we make that leap, the landscape that opens up will be unlike anything our current paradigm can even gesture toward.
Shawn HE YUXUN
An entrepreneurial 'Jack of all trades' for over 30 years, spanning continents and industries—from advisory to advertising, finance to fashion, tech to theater—Shawn has built a career on forging strategic partnerships and driving innovation. Today, aside from mentoring next-gen trailblazers, Shawn is charting his next quantum leap as an interdisciplinary Quantum AI researcher and educator, spearheading quantum initiatives and/or fostering collaborations at multiple leading universities.
